Easter Egg Rolling Competition

For our 2015 Easter weekend well be returning one of the very best areas of Scotland in which to enjoy driving your MX-5, Ullapool, Wester Ross.

This is a wild and beautiful area of Scotland, dominated by imposing mountains and breath taking scenery. When you include some of the very best MX-5 style roads in Europe the area is absolutely worth visiting whatever the weather.

Read all about our previous visits to this area in 2011, 2013 and 2014

Our accommodation for two nights will be at The Royal Hotel, Garve Road, Ullapool. IV26 2SY Tel: 01854 612181

Once again we've also managed to negotiate a great deal with the hotel.

  • Dinner Bed and Breakfast in a balcony room overlooking Loch Broom for only 134.00 per couple per night.

  • A balcony room for single occupancy is 67 DB&B per night.

  • The hotel is holding 20 rooms for us until the end of January. To avoid disappointment make sure you phone the hotel to book your room asap. Make sure you quote The MX-5 Owners Club to ensure you receive the above rates.

The Sunday lunch has been booked at the fantastic Applecross Inn.

    Event Organisers: Jim & Drew

Once again we intend to have an Easter egg rolling competition. Prizes will be given for the best decorated egg and furthest rolled. So remember to bring your decorated hard-boiled egg along and join in the fun.

A raffle will be held with the proceeds this year going to.

Another super weekend with our MX5 cronies. These trips take a lot of organising and I think a huge thanks should go to all concerned.
Those attending the trip also deserve a pat on the back because we all have a part in making it what it was.
I have listened to the moaning about the quiz and will tone it down a bit.
