Sun 13th Mar 2005
organised by Central Scotland

Car Count : 17
[ show event report ]

Do you know your Auchterarder's from your Auchtermuchty's? ...your Comrie's from your Cromlix?  If not, this is the run for you! And even if you do, I'm sure there'll still be something on this run to surprise you.

Meet at the Corus N. Edinburgh, N. Queensferry, at 09:30 for 09:45 get away

The morning run takes you through Cowdenbeath, Blairforge, Steelend, Saline, Forrestmill, Blairingone, Powmill, Rumbling Bridge, Yetts of Muckhart, Glendevon, (almost) Sherriffmuir, Dunblane, Auchenlay, Braco, Comrie and on to Auchterarder where we lunch at the Glendevon Hotel.

The afternoon sees us head through Dunning, Forteviot, Forgandenny, Bridge of Earn, Aberargie, Pitmedden Forrest to Auchtermuchty, Dunshalt, Falkland (at long last), Leslie, Cardenden, Loch Gelley, Auchtertool, Crossgates to end up at the Entertainment Park (McDonalds anyone?) at the Halbeath roundabout on the M90.

Yes I really enjoyed the 200 miles today, blue skies, snow flurry in Powmill & the "different" off road forrest stage.
Thanks for organising it Mino

Sorry for the sharp exit,a 6 year old can be hard work when he can't see over the dashboard.I think Mc'D's was more his style on the way home :-D.Thanx Mino and Douglas.

Hi guys, I did say I hope that this would be my first run but i'm afrain I was still in the land of nod when you all set off (I knew I should'nt have opened that bottle of wine).  Oh well just have to try a bit harder next time.

What Kenny,
Just one bottle of wine. You will need to get into training.
