Royal Deeside Run

Commencing 09:00

A tour of the magnificent Royal Deeside

09:00 Leave the DFS car park,Inverness.

09:50 First stop on Grantown Bypass.

10:30 Bacon Butties at Tomintoul Old Fire Station Cafe

From here on in it becomes a "Magical Mystery Tour" - but be assured we will have plenty of places to interest you!!

We intend arriving in Ballater for a fish supper lunch - around lunchtime?

This is planned as a FULL day out.  There will be several stopping points and returning via Grantown around 1800hrs then back homewards - unless Wendy invites us all in for a cuppie!

Thanks to FAB for organising such a fun packed day, pity we can't organise the weather as well. 
The company and good food made up for it though.
I am now relaxing with a large dram of Tomintoul :)

It was indeed a great first run of the year. Four seasons in one day... sun, rain, sleat, snow, fog didn't dampen the spirits though. Roll on the next one!

Well done FAB it was a good day out. The only thing that overtook us was the heli going to the Lecht, and we overtook him on the way home! Thanks V much Wendy for afternoon tea at Revack, that finished the day in style.
