Pitlochry Recce Run

Sunday 7th April 2013

As it is getting closer to the "big one" the Spring Rally in Pitlochry we need to check out a couple of our run routes.

Heading to Pitlochry via the Moulin Moors and then ont Kinloch Rannoch (stop there for lunch) via Aberfeldy and Kenmore.

We will return via Tummel Bridge, Queens View and back to Pitlochry.

This is required to check for any road works/road conditions prior to send our rally visitors out on the runs.

Hi all.
Thanks for the run today.....sorry for getting lost!. The good news is we had a lovely run around the Rally route and we were very impressed. The route and scenery are first class, I can't imagine there's anything better anywhere. The drive over Schallion is amazing. visitors to Pitlochry are in for a real treat in May. So pleased we managed to get back to the group in the end. Well done Alec for doing the run home with the top down in the snow!

A seriously miserable day made brighter by still managing to get out in the car and have a blast and nice blether with new and old friends. If we can enjoy ourselves when it snows all day, it's looking good for when the better weather kicks in. Don't know if I'm being naive or optimistic.
