Pub Meet - Edinburgh

Thursday 31st May 2012

Although the number of members was at a low [7] it was up there as one of the best.

We met at the Waiting Room in Morningside and ate, drank and laughed. Gordon and Sue reminisced their 3 month holiday and the general chat was about the forthcoming events, M.O.Ts [you will have to ask Wattie about his story] and getting old. The consensus of the evening was the suggestion of forming a subgroup of the MX5 for the over 80s. When we are too old for driving our MX5 we will still organise runs using our bus passes picking up members all over Scotland having days away and the odd week-end event. You may laugh but we will all come to that stage in our lives. We have a fantastic social life through the Car Club and it should not stop just because we get old and cannot drive.

Next Pub night will be in the West, hope to see you all there.
