Hi-5s Run - Drive It Day - Inverness / Black Isle

Sunday 22nd April 2012

Drive It Day is organised by The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs.  It is always held on the nearest Sunday to 23 April. This date was chosen in 2005 to commemorate the 64 cars that set off from London on 23 April 1900 on the first day of the Thousand Mile Trial . an incredible undertaking and one which we believe deserves an annual celebration.

The Inverness Drive It Day is run by the Highland Classic Motor Club.  Hi-5 member Steve MacGregor has been in touch with them and they are more than happy for our members to take part in Drive It Day.  The only thing they have asked is that anyone wishing to take part should complete an entry form.  This can be done by e-mail, or by downloading a form, filling it in and handing it in on the day.

Full details of the event, E-mail and downloadable forms can be found here;
click here

The basic route is from Stadium Road Inverness to Cromarty via Beauly.

Steve MacGregor will be co-ordinating this event and he can be contacted on the following email address - steve1456@hotmail.co.uk

Hi-5s booked so far (2 cars):-

01 - Steve MacG
02 - Sheila
