It sounds like Steve and Sheila had a great day out with the Drive it Day here in Inverness when others of us were away enjoying Cruachan with the Central gang.

Thanks Steve for the following report and photos!

"Hi Brian,

Please find attached a couple of pictures of Drive It Day for the site.  Just the two MX-5s, myself and Sheila Graham (that's Sheila with Brodie the dog in one of the pics).  Sheila was a member in the past and has recently re-joined.  She's hoping to come to the next pub night.

It was a good day with a fair number of cars - I'd guess at somewhere between 50 - 70.  Many nice old British cars with some oddballs - like a WW2 jeep complete with .5inch machine gun.  Free coffe and shortbread laid on at the Hotel on Bogroy, and then a leisurley drive round the Beauly Firth and on to Cromarty where we had lunch at one of the seafront hotels.  It's an annual event, and I'd certainly recommend it for anyone interested next year.

I hope the Cruachan run went well?

Cheers

Steve"
