Invitation to Western Mazda
Saturday 28th April 2012
Western Mazda (Service),
5a Stenhouse Mill Lane,
Western Mazda have kindly invited our club along to an event they're holding at their service centre in Edinburgh.
As you maybe aware (Western Mazda) acquired the Mazda franchise from Murray Motor Company in October 2010 and now the business has come through the launch period they would like to get to know their MX-5 customers a little better!
There is no hard sell or hidden agenda to the event which will take place at their After Sales Centre (Stenhouse).
See the new MX-5 Venture
- Light refreshments will be offered from 12pm to 5pm.
- View the latest new MX-5 models including the recently launched 'Venture' special edition.
- Free Health Checks carried out by Mazda Trained Technicians. Click here to book your free check, enter "MX-5 Owners Club Member" and your preferred time slot in the "Service Enquiry" section.
- Tours of the workshop and service facilities.
- Free wash & vacuum - I don't think many of our members will need this as their respective cars will be immaculate, but they are welcome.
- Discounted service and MOT offers
- Discounts available on Mazda parts & accessories.
- MX-5 Quiz - with all entries placed into a draw to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend with Western Mazda.
- Displays of alloy wheel refurbishment, dent removal & roof renovation - some work can take place on the day if required.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our club members which should be both an enjoyable and instructive MX-5 afternoon.

Thanks all for a great day out. Chuffed to the “gutties” with the dent removal job on the bonnet.
The guy is a magician. If anyone wants his contact details send me a PM and I will pass them on.
Hope to join an outing as soon as I get rid of this trapped nerve in my neck. Charlie

Hey everyone, got a huge favour to ask, the mazda garage have lost our key, they think it may have fallen out of the valeters pocket and into another car, could you have a wee look in your cars to see if its there please? Thats what the delay was in getting our car back. We have 1 of their 12 plate mx-5's at the moment until they can either get us another key cut when we drop off the spare or if they find it or again if its handed into their garage. Thanks in adavnce for having a wee look :)

A very useful afternoon out. Many thanks to the good folk who witnessed the door damage incident and to Alex from dentcentral for being able to fix it. You also did a brilliant repair to Charlie's bonnet too.

Just like to add my thanks and that of my fellow Scottish Fivers to Western Mazda for their invite to their open day. Their facilities are very impressive as was the buffet and refreshments. Their staff are well informed, very helpful and reassuring.
Was really lovely to meet some more fellow 5 owners too.
Hubby had 2 of his wheels refurbished on site and he is very pleased with the results.
The dent repairs were excellent.
We got a fair few bargains too that we are very happy with.
Both our cars got clean bills of health and a spruce up inside and out.
To top it all, we had the most gorgeous weather too.
Well done to Western Mazda, brill day.
Karen & Iain

A huge thank-you to Wesrern Mazda for the invitation to yesterdays event, and hope this is something tand at ahat can be repeated on an annual basis. Was nice to meet a few of the other like minded people, who obviously take much pride in their MX5s, and made the effort to come along. Had a new windstop fitted, with a huge discount, so thx also to the parts dept.

We got our MX5 back from western mazda this morning looking lovely and shiney, along with a lovely bunch of flowers in it for the inconvenience caused last week. Thanks to Ian and Jacqueline for finding our key for us and also western mazda for making the error easier to get sorted and not leaving us without transport whilst ours was away.

Thanks Western Mazda (Scott) for the invite to what turned out to be an excellent event. Typical Mazda, well organised and very informative and you even managed to get the weather on side.
A huge thanks must go to Kevin of Absolute Alloys, you made me a happy boy getting the kerbed wheels fixed.
Also a massive thanks to Iain Burt for sorting me out with bargain of the year. Even the wife appreciated that one.
I will be visiting your facilities again for all our Mazda needs.
See you in July 2013 Scott.
