Tayside with Grampian

Saturday 24th March 2012

Three cars and 5 members met in layby in foggy conditions just north of Dundee to drive to Banchory to join up with the Grampian crew on their run to Glen Clova.

We set off up the A90 towards the turn off for Fettercairn and our journey over the "Mount". We stopped at another layby to take a few photographs, as you can see first we were in the fog!! then the sun came out to play. Roofs were quickly put down (Hardy Alex had his down all the way!! lol!!).

Then it was up to Banchory to meet the others, after a short stop we were of again back over the Mount, Fettercairn(where we had a new Tayside member Simon join us, welcome from all!!)  Edzell, Kirriemuir then up the glen for a lovely lunch. We had another Tayside member join us, low and behold Colin drove up to the hotel for the lunch and the return drive.

Then we  were off again we followed Ian and the Grampian crew until Aylth where we broke off and headed back to dundee.

A good day had by all
