Following the success of last years event, Gordon has once again kindly offered to organise another great run.
Leaving Edinburgh we'll wind our way down some fantastic roads to Tweedsmuir. We then turn left passing the Talla and Megget Reservoirs to St Mary's Loch. If you've never been on this road your in for a spectacular treat.
We also have another new lunch venue to discover at The Cross Keys Inn. Run by the Hunter family, this 17th century Coaching Inn is set in the tranquil village of Ettrickbridge, and close to the historic burgh of Selkirk, amidst spectacular scenery in the Scottish Borders.
The Cross Keys Inn
Sunday lunch is a Carvery at £12 for 2 courses.
The carvery will consist of beef and one other choice (May be Pork, Lamb or Turkey).
There will also be a choice of two or three vegetarian dishes.
Following lunch we head north skirting Selkirk to Innerleithen.
Using as many MX-5 style back roads as possible we finally end the run at The Melville Inn in Lasswade for coffee or drinks for those who wish to partake.
A raffle will be held with the proceeds this year going to.
Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.
Donations of prizes are always welcome.
