The plan is to meet at the Falkirk Wheel where well have the opportunity to ride on the wheel and enjoy a one hour cruise on the Union Canal. Following the boat trip we have a run around some great MX-5 style roads, finally ending at Benny t's for superb fish n' chips.
Toilets, coffee and snacks are available at the wheel cafe or you can simply have a look around the visitor centre.
ENTRY TO THE VISITOR CENTRE, CAFE AND GIFT SHOP IS FREE!!
Following the boat trip, at 1:45pm we will walk back over the canal to assemble the members at the main Falkirk Wheel car park, this is situated off the A803 Glasgow road. We propose to depart from there at 2:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to take part in the 11:30 boat trip you must make your own booking with the Falkirk Wheel booking office. The club will not be making any bookings.
Tickets can be booked online by clicking this link to the booking office. Remember the sailing we will use is 11:30 on Sunday 6th March. The price for this is £7.95 per adult.

6th Mar 2011 19:13 :: June McNab Hi folks
As a former MX5 Club member I had a tear in my eye when I saw quite a few cars drive past me on their way into Falkirk after what I'm sure must have been a club run . I did recognise Sandy's car " red vamp" , am I correct .I am still driving an MX5 , my third since 1995 . I have an ICON and still love the car as much as I did my first .My last Merlot went off, sadly for me,to Inverness .My first 1995 1.8 is still around and has not been traded in for scrap .I wish the Club and it's members well and perhaps when life is a little less hectic I will have time to participate . Regards to all who may remember me .June
