Tayside B-B-Q
Sun 12th Jun 2011
organised by Tayside Scotland

Car Count : 7

[ show pre-run info ]

7 cars made the starting line up with everyone looking to the sky to decide what direction gave the best odds for a dry outing. In the end, west was the preferred option. So it was off to Dunkeld, back to Blairgowrie, up towards Glenshee before dropping back down to Alyth and home. 80 odd miles with no need to raise the roof...though it only got really sunny when we sat down to eat/drink/blether. All in all, a decent day out, hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Hi Alex & Carol, A fine wee run today, just love coming down Glen Isla and going via Auchterhouse was inspired.Lovely food and the garden looks like your own little Shangrila

My first run in a while, and it reminded me I should make more of an effort to get out of my bed. Thoroughly enjoyable run along some well-kent Perthshire run followed by great hospitality at Alex's and Carol's garden. Thanks all for a pleasant day.

Thanks for letting a BMW tag along at the back today - you meet such nice people on an MX5 run.
Lovely lunch - I especially enjoyed the trifle.

A good day out methinks. Hope it wasn't too bad for Dot and Ian having to go for a run round their own stomping ground. We'll make sure we head somewhere else next time.
