Many thanks to the members (8)who made the effort to attend tonight,food was fab,many things discussed,Jen took the minutes of the meeting as to the and I will send emails to the region members once I have written them up.
Following was discussed,
2010 events/runs

2011      "

proposed tech day/BBQ at Alex Henderson's

    "    w/end run to Inveray/Lochgoilhead,also to go to the Glamis Extravaganza, Bill Balfour to look into both of these events and advise.

Attend Glen Isla classic car rally (Jen,Alice and I were there this year and had a great time) Alice to confirm date.

Attend Arbroath "Sea Front Spectacular" on 23rd July

BBQ at our house probably somtime in August

The Gathering/Motormania Granton on Spey September
.
Hopefully continue doing some joint runs with the "Central Mob" as long as Ian allows us.

This is just a taster,i will post our plannned/proposed events/runs  events as soon as I have more information.
  Many thanks to John Masterton who has now stood down as joint AC.He hopes to come to some of the above next year.
  A vote was taken by members at the meeting and we have decided to call ourselves the "Tayside" region this being the one that is most easily recognised by members outwith Scotland. I will contact main club to advise them of the details re John and the name change.
  Our next meeting will be in February next year,so at this time i will wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year from Jen and I and the members of the "Tayside region".

And thanks to Tom for all his work over the last few months. I believe he stepped in to help John out and now finds himself as the AC - helluva guy!

Thanks Tom and Jen for your company and work over the last year it was good to have so many joint runs with "Taysiders"

Yes indeedy Colin. After a manic year, things have quietened down a bit for me, but I've not been able to do the job justice. I will assist where necessary.I will send Tom the template for a run that I did a few years back - with accompanying notes. Not sure when I will get behind the wheel of a 5 - it might not be until next winter, just depends!

Hi Tom & Jen Good luck for the 2011 event year. The Central Scotland Area look forward to many more joint adventures together with our Tayside friends.
