Wed 28th Apr 2010 to Wed 28th Apr 2010
organised by Tayside Scotland

Car Count : 9
[ show pre-run info ]

Hello, what a good turnout to say cheerio to Ricky and Julie,8 cars and their owners turned up at Halfords car park in Dundee. After a chat amongst us all and goodbyes from Colin and Alice who could not come on the run we were off.
The run took us out of Dundee via the back roads to Inverkeillor then we followed the coast road to Montrose where,we picked up John and Dianne. We then carried onto Inverbervie to the famous "Bervie chipper"after we had all ordered/recieved our fare we drove down to the beach car park we we ate "al fresco" and very good it was too !!
It was dark when we left and again took the back roads to Fourdon cross roads where Jhon and Dianne headed north and the rest of us headed south towards Dundee and home.
On behalf of Rick and Julie, thank you

Thank you all for a lovely turnout, a lovely run and great chips. We will be back to join you good people at some point this summer  perhaps at Arbroath, as we leave more than a little of our hearts in Scotland.JX

Sorry to miss seeing you guys off; real life and late night meeting getting in the way of fun. All the best for the future and thanks for the help you gave me as AC.

Well that was a new experience for me - driving an MX5 in the dark! I would just like to add, that I had the hood up all night! Only one member was daft enough to brave those cold east coast breezes!

Enjoyable night out with a bit of a twist on the return leg. Had a thoroughly magic time being at the tail end. Pitch black, hood down and Who's Next blaring away. Superb. Oh!...and a fitting cheerio to Rick and Julie. Though I'm confident we've not heard the last of them.
