Lovely run today but how the heck did Ricky George arrange private parking at a distillery (see photo). Sorry Alex caught with your mouth full again. 3 cars left from Tay Bridge and were joined at Gilmerton by another 3 so 6 in total.

had a great day, enjoyed the run, thanks Alex

A big thanks to STV for getting the weather wrong yet again. A fine day with just the odd threat of rain; nowt to bother us (though some club stalwarts had their hood up on the return leg...you know who you are...Julie). Some brilliant roads with fantastic scenery. Only downside, no room at the inn as the NSE posse had filled the place (not to mention the car park). It was still nice to put faces to names though, both from NSE and new NSS members (who assured me the cheque\'s in the post). A braw day in braw company...look forward to the next outing.

Well...I know I was very late in catching you up-got a bit carried away with all the nice detours- and fantastic scenery+ great weather too!But was pretty knocked back when I finally found Edradour- only to see you all departing ..like the Deil had arrived! Maybe the wrong aftershave? It would have been great to have been able to say hello at least! Ach-well- next time! Still- managed to get some Caledonia- so will now have a wee nightcap-after all these roadworks-something is needed!!

Crian,

Sorry mate I was leading the group out of Edradour and did not make the connection, I thought you just happened to be another MX-5 driver who happened to be at Edradour at the same time! Doh! I guess the fact that we were expecting you with the NSS crew (it was the NSE group leaving that you would have seen) and that you had not been with them that caused the disconnect! Catch you another time.

Ian

What a bummer!  Maybe next time, Crian.
Re Alex\'s comment about the weather - BBC also got it wrong!  The only rain the NSE contingent felt was a few drops at Edradour, not even enough to put in a dram!

Too bad the Moulin Inn filled up so quickly.  NSE arrived about 1210 and had a choice of tables but loads of folk turned up c.1230.  Nice to see everyone.  We'll need to try and meet for longer next time!

Thanks for that- Ian & Liatach- maybe I should have blocked you all off- jumped out, and shouted- Here I am!! Must be becoming shy and retiring in my oldies! Was looking forward to seeing if I could push the Pram!! See you all sometime... Lot of MX's around your way- I saw 14 in my 450 mile Odyssey- including a bunch of three-can't rember exactly where- anyway got a wave off!- Funny tho'- some folk don't even bother- maybe they think you're trying to pick them up!-What-at my age!!

Glad you had a fun run yesterday.
Sorry I couldn't make it.
It's been great with the top down the last couple of weeks. Great to get out in the MX5 yesterday to head over to Montrose.
See you all ASAP.
