Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2010
Our club has been invited to exhibit at the third Bo’ness Hill Climb Revival Meeting.
There will be a full entry of both competitors and exhibitors, including classic motor cycles competing for the first time in 58 years.
They are introducing show awards for the first time this year but in spite of this they have decided once again not to charge an entry fee to clubs. Complimentary tickets – 2 per car will be issued.
With our new event shelters and flags etc we should have a stunning prize winning club stand, allowing us to display between 8 and 13 cars. The intention is to show all marks from Mk1 to Mk 3.5.
This will be a brilliant free weekend for the qualifying cars, if you would like to take part please post below stating your car model.

Private Saturday Night Social Evening
Why not come along to our private social evening at the Richmond Park Hotel in Bo'ness on the Saturday evening. A few members have already booked rooms in the hotel. If you would also like a room at the hotel early booking is recommended as it will be a very busy weekend in the town and rooms will go fast.
Following dinner (see menu below) we will be entertained by Ian Scott. Ian is a singer, historian and wonderful story teller who I’m sure will keep you well entertained during the evening.
The social evening is open to everyone so if you would like to join us for the evening please post below so that we know the exact numbers.

Notes for Exhibitors
We are all at Bo’ness to enjoy ourselves so the following notes from the organisers are intended to help give the maximum enjoyment to both exhibitor and spectator.
Car stands should have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 14 cars. The stand size is 10 Mt. x 18 Mt. or 22 Mt.
Clubs will be required to be there for the Saturday and Sunday.
Club Stands should be manned throughout the show – this is in the interests of both the club and the paying spectator.
Arrival time up to 11am but it would be much appreciated if exhibitors can be on their stand by 9:00am. After 9:00am the track will be open for competition and you may have to wait some time for a supervised track crossing to allow access to the exhibition area.
It would be appreciated if you can stay on stand until the end of the meeting.
Awards will be presented as follows:
Best Car Stand – 1st 2nd and 3rd
Best Motor Cycle Stand – 1st 2nd and 3rd
Best Car – 1st 2nd 3rd
Best Motor Cycle – 1st 2nd 3rd
With the introduction of awards for the first time, we are confident that clubs will want to increase the quality and interest on their stands. This will make the show better for everybody.
Parade Runs. It is our intention to have 2 Parade Runs per day for exhibitors who would like the opportunity to drive up the hill. This will be limited to 2 cars per club per run. Full details with final instructions.
