Sunday Pub Lunch

At the Mill Inn,
Coulter Village,
Near Biggar.
ML12 6PZ

Sunday 2nd May 2010

This is our first Sunday pub lunch meeting of the year and Gordon has found us a brilliant new venue at the Mill Inn, Coulter.

See the Inn in Google streetview

The idea is simple, we all make our own way to the Inn arriving at approximately 12:45 as our tables will be booked for 1:00. We can then enjoy a super lunch and banter with your fellow MX-5 friends.

The Inn location is fairly central and should be easily reached from the North, South, East and West of the Central Scotland club area. So no excuses for not getting the car out for a Sunday run.

For those of you coming from the Edinburgh area there will be a meeting point at Hunters Tryst.

Meet at 11:00 for a 11:15 departure
Morrisons Supermarket Carpark,
Hunters Tryst,
30 New Swanston,
EH10 7JA

Google Maps Link to Hunters Tryst

Cafe and Toilet available if required inside Morrisons Supermarket

Although not a formal run we hope have a mini convoy from Edinburgh to the Inn.

Run organiser: Gordon

Lunch count so far:

02 - Sue & Gordon (From Hunters Tryst)
04 - Jacqueline & Ian (Meet at Coulter)
05 - Sarah (From Hunters Tryst
06 - Gavin (Meet at Coulter)

If you would like to join us please post below stating if you intend to go directly to the Inn or if you plan to join the convoy from Edinburgh:

Just got back, Gordon managed to find some lovely roads for us and we had a spirited drive. Nice venue and food, and of course great company :-)

Grear lunch venue, well done Gordon, superb food and good company.I've driven past this place many times and never dreamed of stopping. It has to be a must for a future run. Good run down but not so good on way back with more trffic on the road. With half a coo in me I don't think I'll be eating until tomorrow, sometime.

A nice run down on roads only Gordon could find.(Pity about the Micra). A smashing lunch at another new venue and agree it has to be a stop in the future. Thanks to Gordon and Sue for the organising.
