NSS Mini-run

The last minute change of date due to the Scottish summer did not put off another terrific turnout; 9 drivers and their long-suffering passengers headed east out along the country roads along the top of Dundee. Uncluttered by caravans and tractors we dropped down into Arbroath Harbour after only 35 minutes and, having collected John, we trooped off to one of several excellent chippers recommended by Neil. Although the evening couldn't be described as balmy, we settled down on the attractive harbourside and tucked in, Colin ensuring he would not run out of ketchup! Neil realised too late the naivete of suggesting a route by finding himself leading the convoy north then back west to Forfar via the excellent twisty B965 through Friockheim. At Forfar cars disappeared faster than a Kerry Katona meat pie and the last five of us arrived back in Dundee bang on time. I'm sure I'm not alone one in thinking what a nice set of people we have in the area, so thanks to all for another life-affirming evening out.

A braw wee run out once again.    The aging eejit must be a bit closer to knowing top speed of his car now!

I don't know the top speed just yet, but I certainly found out some fun roads to Arbroath. Oh, and where the european ketchup mountain is (or should that be lake?). Again, a fine evening, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening - ok ok so we put the roof up for the last 5 miles but at least that guaranteed no rain - law of sod - I think they call it.
