This is definitely an event not to be missed.

See at close quarters the controversial Parliament building designed by Enric Miralles, the Barcelona architect.

I'm sure when you enter the main debating chamber it will give you a feeling of awe and wonder, this is where life changing decisions are made which affect us all. Not many people have this unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of this building expertly guided by Jim Tolson MSP (and fellow club member) whose enthusiasm for Scottish politics is infectious.

As we are limited to around 20 people it is vitally important to post below if you would like to attend. The closing date is 31st August and both First and Last names of all participants need to be provided in advance for security clearance purposes.

Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis but preference will be given to members who did not visit in 2008.

Thank you for the kind comments, I really enjoyed putting the day together.

I am glad everyone enjoyed their day at 'their parliament' and that they hopefully came away with a more informed view of the institution, the building and how it works so well.

I am also amazed that, despite the last minute changes, no one got lost en route.
