WESTERLY PUB MEET

The Red Deer in Cumbernauld

Thursday 28th May 2009

The Red Deer

REPORT

Well, if there was ever a prize for the furthest travelled to a pub night, Maria and Jim would win it!!!!
All the way straight off the plane from Italy to Cumbernauld...... there's spirit for you, and they looked tanned and relaxed, while us stay-at-homes looked pale and not so relaxed :-)

Chic did make an effort too and came from a day at the races with winnings in his pocket and shared his good luck with us.

We were all in a holiday mood by the end of the evening and talk of taking the cars to some far off destinations in the future was up for serious discussion.

There's something about these little sports cars that just makes you want to go.... zoom zoom  ;-D

Good evening good chat and laughter good to see Jim and Maria back from their holiday.

Even though the numbers were down due to many of the regulars having other commitments, it still turned out to be a fun evening in great company :-)

A really nice end to our holiday, good company and Chic looking after us from his day at the races.
