PUB MEET - AT THE RED DEER CUMBERNAULD

Thursday 26th March 2009

REPORT

At the second of our westerly pub meets for 2009 an even dozen members gathered at the Red Deer and enjoyed an evening of great company and good food.

The Red Deer

Due to the launch of their new menu, the Red Deer was unusually busy for a Thursday night in March. We chatted at the bar for a while before a large table was found for us all.

There was no shortage of wit and banter especially from Jim and Wattie, could they be the new Eric and Ernie?

Enthusiasm for the forthcoming events spread throughout the group and everyone was looking forward to a great year ahead.

My sides are still hurting from laughing so much at the antics of Jim and Maria's dog. Jim and Wattie must surely bring out a book about this. I don't think I could look at west lothian Golf Club in the same light again.
As for Futons. Say no more. Next Car Park meet, Ikea anyone?

I think Jim and Wattie should be on the television. Great night and good food. Good location too.
