Pub Meet
Thu 16th Oct 2008
organised by Central Scotland

Car Count : 10

[ show pre-run info ]

A change of direction for The Newfarm restaurant, the introductions of the 3.50 Carvery meant it was going to be busier than normal, that and the schools being on holiday. Most of our regular Pub Meet Members decided to go along at 6.30, this turned out to be a big mistake, the waiting conga line that met us twisted and turned round pillars to meet the front door, nevertheless it was a great atmosphere and reminded many of school dinners, so much so that a few went up for extras after buying another ticket.
A great night and the usual car park discussion under a few bonnets took place after the ordinary punters had vacated the place.

Another good pub meet with a bit of banter, a bit of tech chat, a lot of car chat and a whole lot of inexpensive hearty grub - They'll need to order in extra cauliflower next time ;-)

We arrived earlier than usual to be met by Robin, Joyce and Andy.  Thanks guys for keeping a table for all of us.

The food was worth the wait but don\'t try joining other members who have kept a place in the queue for you.  If looks could kill!

Friendly chat, good food and lots of laughs.  What more could you want.
