What a weekend. All 4 seasons over the 3 days, fantastic scenery,deer, goats and Jezza's 'mountain', clear roads, apart from Fort William and Balloch but such a joy and great company.Great to see our friends Bill and Linda from NSN join us for the three nights. The hotels were excellent and catered to our taste. A big surprise when Ian and Jacqueline joined us at the last hotel having just returned from their holiday. Fantastic time had by all. Shame it had to end. I'm knackered.

Thanks to Richard for the route including the last minute detours to avoid the worst of the snow.As Gavin said ,what a fantastic weekend.It was great that Bill and Linda could join us and also John and Heather for Ullapool then a great surprise when Jacqueline and Ian turned up to join us at the Falls of Lora.The car is now back to Radiant Ebony after Chas washed off the layer of white salt last night.Great roads,scenery,driving,hotels,food,company......can we do it all again?

Thanks guys for a great end to our holiday. Meeting up for the last night really was the icing on the cake.

I can only echo the comments already posted, we had a ball. Superb food, drink, accomodation, company, scenery etc. Had an interesting run home in the blizzards from Drumnadrochit. Just a pity it had to nd.Can't wait for next year.

27th Mar 2008 09:47 :: Eileen & Richard
Thanks everyone for a great weekend, haven't laughed so much in ages, and hey, no fire alarm, no slippy steps, the alcohol ban obviously worked(!!!!)Lovely to see Bill & Linda, John & Heather and Ian & Jacqueline. The Falls of Lora Hotel was amazing, must be a contender for September, the baths are the size of small swimming pools, I'm sure you could get 10 people into one at a push. Hehehe.

27th Mar 2008 13:00 :: chic and heather
Don't think it even needs a push Eileen.
