Details of this fine event are at http://ccgi.seafront.org.uk/news/ but as a taster ...

"Our fantastic seafront show takes place in one of the areas finest locations,Victoria Park, our natural coastal amphitheatre.
It is transformed for the day of the Spectacular, with something for everyone whatever their age, with funfair, rides, simulators, stalls, caterers, music, lots more to see and do, and a great family atmosphere!

Whilst here, why not make some extra time to visit and explore our unspoilt coastline and historic town centre!

Flying Displays * Helicopter Pleasure Flights

Armed Forces Displays
Car and Motor Cycle Stunt Driving
Golden Lions Scottish Infantry Parachute Display Team

We are meeting in the McDonalds car park in Dundee Rd (Google maps: DD11 2PT) on the river, then driving in convoy to the event in Victoria Park. Andy "L111CHT" can get us free passes, but we must be in place as a car club prior to 11am. Usually you can leave for home between 3-4pm.

Andy needs an idea of numbers to get the passes, so please e-mail me at mx5_nss@btinternet.com if interested.

Well, how shall I start? As I was the only representative of our club at this event I really should let you know what a cracking day out you have missed. Many car clubs were in attendance, BMW, Minis (both types), American and classics. A very large crowd was thrilled by stunt driving in a legend racer and a TVR as well as a stunt motor cycle rider. This display was complemented by two different aerobatic displays and the Golden Lions Parachute display team dropped in to say hello as well. It was difficult to make much of an impact with only one car, but I did manage to get the interest of two 5 owners from Fife who have promised to make contact in the near future. All in all, Lauren, my daughter, and I had a good day out. I would say that it is a good platform to promote our club from next year.

Would have been been there with car had it been returned to me from the garage. Well done for representing the club!
Tom.

Would have been there if my Roadsters Timing Belt hadn't gone. I will make an effort to go next year. Roadster still not on the road yet !
