Tech Day
Sun 5th Feb 2006
organised by Central Scotland

Car Count : 12
[ show pre-run info ]

One of our busiest in a long time...would be the best way to describe this years February Tech Day. Joining us at Stirling Services were prospective new members Jennifer & Robin, who were on a fact finding mission before the purchase of their new Mx-5, taking the opportunity to see some of the cars and ask everyone questions about the various models. After arriving at Richard & Eileens house the garage was soon filled by the cars needing some of the bigger jobs done, jobs like fitting an engine undertray, a Strut brace, brake pads, change of coolant and many more. The customary BBQ lunch was had with a sense of urgency as people wanted to get back to their list of jobs to be done. Alex worked hard all day fitting his Remote Central Locking kit and although possibly due to a faulty unit, disappointingly meant it was not quite finished before heading for home.
Many thanks to Richard and Eillen for their hospitality and to all the members who helped others fit and repair the various kit.
