Last year the Quaich run was a great day out with 24 cars taking part. This year we are sticking to a similar format with only a few changes to the route.

Once again we will start off in Muckhart and Bobbie is organising tea and fresh scones baked on the morning. Do not have a big breakfast before you come! If Bobbie remembers, this time there will be a charity collecting can, if you would like to make a donation for the tea and scones.

Heading off from Muckhart we head through Dunning Glen then to Auchterarder and on to Methven. After Methven we are taking a slightly different route to the comfort stop at Bankfoot. Like last year we go on to the A9 for a short distance then cut off through Dalguise towards Aberfeldy. However this time we will bypass Aberfeldy itself by following the north bank of the River Tay instead of the south bank.

The lunch stop again is at Highland Safaris at Dull.

There will be a raffle at the lunch stop for CHAS and Combat Stress.

After lunch a slightly different route takes us to Kenmore and then down Glen Quaich itself.

A similar route round Crieff but then on towards Comrie where we turn south to Braco and then down to Dunblane where the run finishes at a car park beside Marks and Spencers.

No dinner at the end this year but Marks have a good café for anyone who wants a refreshment.

Please can you let us know what main courses you would like at the lunch  stop by emailing with your selection.

We would like to place orders in advance. This worked well last year as most of the food was ready when we arrived and they were also geared up at the till with everyone’s bill.
