Over the years the members of the MX-5 Owners Club in Scotland have arranged a get together event on a fairly regular basis. It has been a few years since the last event was held at Knockhill in 2012, and it was felt that we should try another
This is an event for all Scottish areas and those from further afield to get together at Braemar Highland Showground. The gathering has been named Scot5 2016.
Iain Fleming (National Events & Exhibitions Coordinator) is looking after general planning and has arranged for catering to be provided by Glenshee Ski Centre and will also have the club store on site. He has also placed an article in Soft Top Hardtop April issue to advertise the event nationally in order to encourage visitors from south of the border.
We are also looking at some organised events on the day. These have still to be confirmed.
A run up to the event for Central Scotland members has been arranged by Angus, starting at Dobbies, Stirling and driving some great MX-5 roads, with an arrival at Braemar around 11:30 - 12:00.
The event is open to all owners of MX-5s, not just club members. So come on, sign up for a what should be a great day and meet your fellow Scottish MX-5 owners and enjoy a run into the bargain.
