The All New Mazda MX-5 Mk4

You will all be aware that Mazda are promoting the launch of the new MX-5 through various routes.

Following receiving an invitation from my local Mazda dealership to view the car, enquiries were made to see if this could be extended to Club members in the area.

I was contacted by Border Cars (Ayr) and they were keen for us to support them with the launch which will take place at
Drumlanrig Castle, which is off the A76 Dumfries road just north of Carronbridge.

Drumlanrig Castle

Tour Itinerary:

10:30 11:00 Arrive Border Cars for Tea & Coffee.  Pick up tour pack & sign Disclaimer.

11:15 - MX5 Convoy to Drumlanrig Castle.

13:00 Arrive venue.

13:00 16:00 View the All new Mx5, ask questions, enjoy lunch in the Stables Yard. Optional Castle Tour included book at the Kiosk Tours subject to availability.

And before you leave, be sure to pick up your Road trip pack from the MX5 stand.

It is hoped by all for a good turn out for this Border Cars/Mazda event and if we can add our own stamp to this, all the better.

So if you would like to come along as part of the invitation that has been extended to Mx5 Club members, please put your name(s) down in the usual manner. We may agree to meet up at a venue close by and come in on our own convoy as an option to arriving in dribs n drabs.
Note that parking at the garage at Heathfield Industrial Estate may present its own problems on the day depending on numbers but I am sure we would manage.

I will advise Border Cars (Ayr) nearer the date of those that are expecting to attend and post any amendments as the itinerary becomes clearer.
Hope to see you there.
