Without the led in place or the shorting link.
Run the engine at tickover and put a multimeter between the battery terminals with the DC voltage setting what voltage do you get without any lights or rear window heater or blower on.
Get someone to run it at say 2000 rpm and again what voltage do you get.
Lift the passenger side carpet and at the front firewall where the passengers feet would be, you should see a sheet metal cover, underneath that is the ECU.
Is there any water there or are there rust stains on the sheet metal or the wiring connector.
When was the last time the cabin drains behind the seatbelt towers were cleared.
There are eight further drains in front of and behind each jacking point one at each corner that need cleared with a very slim screwdriver are they clear and is there no water trapped there.
