dashboard lights

Postby derekb » Sat Dec 05, 2015 2:13 am

Now the days are shorter and having to use lights I am finding that all dashboard lights are quite dim. Is this normal on Mx5 mk2 2001. can someone tell me. battery is healthy.

Are there not two control knobs on the instrument cluster? One is a push button type for resetting single journey miles back to zero and the other rotates to increase or decrease the illumination of the instrument cluster.

I find our 2002 Sport's a bit dim as well, even at maximum setting as Ben pointed out.
One bulb has popped anyway, so I'll be upgrading with "L.E.Deez" in blue to match the new Kenwood radio..as I don't like the pinky red anyhow..and the car is blue anyway.
There is always an imbecile you never bargained for. Usually in a Tescon carpark with a dented Zafira minus hubcaps
