Retro-fitting Mk2.5 Parts in MK2

Postby Telly Addict » Tue Oct 20, 2015 11:39 pm

Hi, can anyone tell me what parts from a MK2.5 will fit a MK2? For example, are the light clusters interchangable, front and rear?

Well as it happens, both appear to have responded well to an Italian tuneup although I'm still awaiting plugs, leads and air filter arriving from mx5parts, but thanks for asking.

While I'm waiting though I'm exploring other areas of tinkerdom, so back to my original question...

Found part of the answer here http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=147249. Short answer; the rears are interchangeable with minor modification.

In actual fact, no modification required at all; straight swap. 8)

Not sure if it's because mine is a 99/00 model.
