Newbie with a question

Postby rae1001 » Wed Oct 22, 2014 7:11 pm

Hi all, unfortunately, i no longer own an mx5. I loved my time owning one but having kids kind of put an end to it haha.
But, when i did buy my mx5, the owner before me gave me a load of paperwork aswel as a book with it. Never thought nothing of it until coming across the book in a cupboard today. Its called 'Mazda mx5 miata, the book of the worlds favourite sports car' by Brian Long.

http://www.veloce.co.uk/shop/products/p ... %20Trucks&

Thats the book.
Now ive been looking for info on this book as it seems its worth a lot of money (all seem to be up for sale for £100+) but the original rrp (as printed on the back of the dust cover(it is a hardback)) is £29.99

So does anyone know anything about the book, or find anything online that i cant? Why is it worth so much? And is it worth selling it, or will the value rise in time?

Thanks all
Paul

I have one of those as do probably quite a few others.

Absolutely can't fathom why it would be worth £100... Happy to sell mine to anyone for that  Not expecting a big take up somehow...

Location: not the end of the world, but you can see it from here or near Inverurie.

Probably for the same reason a complete basket-case Mk1 LeMans BBR was won on Fleabay for over 5K.
In short, Mk1 owners are slightly mental..in a good way!
There is always an imbecile you never bargained for. Usually in a Tescon carpark with a dented Zafira minus hubcaps
