Visit to Western Mazda on 31st May

Postby MrCool90 » Mon May 05, 2014 8:11 pm

Is anyone welcome to this event? I do have a mk1 but I'm not a full owners club member.

Although Western Mazda contacted the owners club re the event I am unsure if they have opened it up to others. However I do not think there is any reason why you can't pop in. You might leave having bought a new car or even want to join owners club!!!

I though that would be obvious, Iain. For the past 2 years Scottish Fivers have attended. But I suppose Fivers aren't really a 'club', as there is no joining fee to become a member.

not really that obvious no, I've not been about in Scotland much... this usually coincides with something far away, but not this year.
I wondered if you were talking about other Mazda clubs RXs etc

wow scottish fivers still on the go? but doesn't seem to be a website on the URL, thought they'd packed it in

Far from it. Still very active with lots of events and charity work and a growing membership. The website fell by the way side for various reasons, but the forum is busy.

Not really that curious this the Owners Club site - if people want to find other things to do then as you say search engines can turn up all kinds of days out.

Just like the Western Mazda dealer day that was being offered here which I am looking forward to.

Enjoy your day, Iain. Hopefully you'll get a lot of sales to boost the club profits. It is a business after all.
