First time owner from Stirling.

Postby lifeavoidit » Mon Mar 17, 2014 2:51 pm

Hi guys and gals.

My name is Neil and i bought my first mx5 about a month ago.

It is a mk1 1.6 Jap import in black but it used to be red i think lol.

I am totally new to mx5's and mazda as i have never owned one in the 14 years i have been driving but i must say i love the wee car. I need to do loads of work on it as it has had the unfortunate luck of being owned by young guys before and it needs the stupid loud exhaust made a bit quieter and the suspension sorted but other than that it is a good wee car.

I actually live in Falkirk but my shop is in Stirling and i am always here so it made sense to say i was from here.

Amazing the paths that you cross on these forums. Seen you on a few others especially the burner forum where I actually bought a bike from you a couple of years ago.

Not got myself an MX 5 yet as I am currently trying to find my old car. Would like to see a few piccy's of you new motor.

Cheers

Hi Neil
You are quite close to Doune, and the hill climb is there on April 19/20
Our new group Eunos Ecosse will be there in force...especially on the 2oth,which is part of the Scottish Lowland Championship
If you don't know where Doune hill climb is...just head for Doune then go through and head for Callander...you will see a huge gathering of trailers, cars etc on the right. We are always glad to see MX5ers.
