Returning to the fold with new style MX5. I had a MK1 Roadster for around ten years and it was a great car and never let me downI sold it to a bloke from Edinburgh along with a spare engine and hope that it is still around ( REG BCZ 5232 Silver) It had anl American Hardog rollbar and loads of alloy bits.
Best thing about the new car is the folding metal roof. It is a great piece of kit and worth the extra few quid.

Previously username 'vanvliet'. Bought the car last Sept and have the roof down at every opportunity! We have not been along to any events so far. Used to go up to Knockhill but that was a while ago

I've got one of the Sportech Roadsters which has a folding resin roof, probably lighter than a metal one. :D
Great cars though.
2009 Convertible Coupe 2.0L Sport now that the 2005 LE and 2007 Z Sport Limited are dead.
