Hi from EK

Postby Sprockutt » Sun May 12, 2013 9:25 pm

Hi All,
I'm considering buying an MX5 Mk1 and am going to go along to the meet in Pitlochry next Sunday to take a closer look at hopefully some very nice examples. Up until recently my car of choice as a hobby was the Mk2 Golf GTI. I owned a low mileage mint car that I bought from the original owner but I got a wee bit bored with it after three years and sold it. So I'm now on the lookout for a nice example of a Mk1 for something completely different and a bit of fun. Am in the process of trying to gather as much info as possible just now so that I hopefully don't get stung when I do take the plunge and buy one.

Cheers,

David

Ha! Yes that seems to be the number one concern as the mechanicals are pretty bullet proof. Hope to have a chat and get some advice next week.
