Chatelherault Classic Car Show..Sunday 22nd August 2004

Postby DouglasH » Thu Aug 05, 2004 10:19 pm

Went to this last year to promote our National in Edinburgh, really enjoyed the selection of classic cars and bikes, first field was devoted to performance & customised cars with a few performance parts traders as well.
I intend going again this year, without the leaflets.
Chatelherault Park is in Hamilton.

Some Pictures from last year...

Hi Douglas,

Were you going for the whole day or just for a look around?

Not sure Don will probably go around 12.00 before it gets too busy, then leave whenever, that was the plan last year but twice I was on my way back to the car when I met people I knew so went back round again with them.

I'm definately up for it. It'll be good to see some classic cars.

I'll let Liz do her own thing that day, if you want some company let me know.

Hi Douglas,

Sorry I didn't phone you last night (I forgot :?) I'll call you tonight.

11.30 sounds good to me.

Another perfect day, sun splitting the sky onto all those lovely classic cars, nearly bought a Healy 3000, but when I overheard the owner say he would be swapping the perfect wheels onto his other car  the deal was off..pity as it was a good price too...only ?27,000   nice warm up for Callander next week.
