Yeah I'm delighted.
Awaiting parts to convert it to power steering.
Then gonna look into fitting electric windows or doing something to make the manual ones easier to open

well the power steering looks to be well easy.
shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours to do.
its the windows that are annoying me just now. there so so stiff to roll down

Yeah I know fine that things won't go to plan. But that's the fun.
And by that point I won't be using it as a daily runner so I can take my time anyway

Great looking car - that paint work is impressively bright! Nice wheels too.

thanks. it wasn't as bright as that to begin with. but a going over with some polishes and sealants and it looks really good.
alas the wheels may have to go. they have been seriously flat spotted. and no longer run true.
i'll see if i can have them repaired over the winter but if not i will be on the hunt for some new ones

Try Turriff Tyres, they have a lathe for repairing wheels, although you have to apply heat so you would have to re-finish them after the repair. They sorted out my Panasport Minilites, one of which was bent like a banana, and they have been fine ever since.

Well power steering is all done now.
took about 4 hours so not to nasty a job.
Missed the center spline so need to get it on the right spline so the steering wheel will sit straight.

Got some new bits.
A JDM Back plate (I prefer the Jap Plate)
And some side skirts. along with some adjustable coilover adapters.
so this will be my next wee project.
Will get some pics up when i get started
