DIY Door Cards

Another project finished.

Cut out new panels, as the old ones were so warped with the damp, covered them in foam and then some cheapy eBay suede. Pretty happy with the results :)

Looking good - a very simple, clean look. And here was me getting all excited about my new DIY door screens (the plastic sheets that go behind the door cards) that I made from a roll of thick, clear polythene... These are way better!

Haha, thanks very much! I posted a wee thread about them on http://www.mx5modsters.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=2755 with all the stuff I bought for them. I'm going to try wrapping the crash pads next I think.

I liked the pockets. Are they too difficult to recover?

Maybe you just didn''t like them.

Nice door handles though.

Thanks! I didn't have pockets before - I just had the normal S-Special "teardrop" door cards like this (except all black):

So to me, I've not really lost anything. The handles are for a guitar amp, and (luckily) lined up with the original holes in the door.
