GRA - Rugby World Cup - 1st October

Postby IanH » Sun Aug 07, 2011 8:28 pm

An early start, convene at Archies for Scotland's Pool B match against England in Auckland which is to be shown on ITV1 at 08:30.

We'll find some Curry for lunch later on.

Note, this replaces the Rothes for whisky run which has been moved to November.

Rugby is at Archibald Simpson's on 1 October.

There is a wee run on Wednesday 17 August to Portsoy for chips. I think departure time is 1830 from Morrisons Inverurie. We are generally back by 10pm latest.

There will also be a run on 21 August starting from Morrisons, Inverurie at 0900. Route will take us in the Aviemore direction for Elevenses and possibly a light lunch on the way back - maybe aim for a picnic lunch with a cafe as a fall back if the weather isn't cooperating!

OK... so Archies opens at 8, the match is at 08:30, JDW pubs are showing the games. There is some uncertainty whether the alcohol licence kicks in until 10:00 however breakfast and coffee is available also... :>)
