who's kidding who here !! lol !! please read and weep Eddie.Taken tonight from Weatherline for the weekend in the Lake District.
Forecast for Friday

Weather:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain at first, heavy at times, clearing to scattered and at showers through the afternoon. These may be heavy at times with a risk of thunder.

Forecast for Saturday

Weather:

A dry start with some bright spells, however cloud will thicken and lower in the afternoon to bring rain, this heaviest over the south and west of the area.

Sunday

Outbreaks of rain through the morning, heaviest over the Southern and Western Fells where there will be extensive hill fog, but more occasional elsewhere. Rain gradually clearing in afternoon to leave some late sunshine across the Lakes. Strong southerly winds. Freezing level well above the summits.

Monday

A dry start with bright or sunny intervals, but scattered showers will develop for the afternoon. Mostly very good visibility, with only occasional patches of hill fog. Gale force southerly winds in the morning but easing a little later in day. Freezing levels remaining well above the summits.

So Eddie remember and pack the wellies, raincoat, brolley and hat. Dont forget the Avon "skin so soft" for those english midges that will come out to bite after the rainy spells. have a nice weekend btw. lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
