NSE - Post Traumatic Festive Lunch & Planning Meeting

Postby IanH » Mon Dec 06, 2010 6:26 pm

This will take place at Redgarth in Oldmeldrum on Sunday 9th January at 12:00pm sharp for those who are eating.

If you only want to come for the planning meeting this will kick off at about 13:15/30.

A draft events calendar will be circulated in advance of the meeting.

Names are essential for both lunch and meeting, I'll start a rolling list below.

Eddie. For planning read:-

Ian " what do you think we want to do for 2011"

Lorraine "same as last year"

Ian "Sorted"

Happy now?

Yes but look at the Central region MX5 Scotland, lots of planning and they ended up losing a coordinator and canceling Xmas Lunch.

That's planning for you and don't ask me to explain why planners are getting £500 a day in Aberdeen. Snake oil and trick cycling as far as I'm concerned.

Polite notice:

Can we please ask you that you tell us by Friday 7th if you intend to come and eat. Stuart needs the numbers by then. We will also assume that if we do not hear from you by Friday 7th but turn up on the day then you won't be eating with the troops!

Dinna worry Eddie, yer on the list so you will be at the top table.

We just need to keep things "organised" for Stuarts benefit.

A long way :(
The venue is in Oldmeldrum which is c.16 miles NW of Aberdeen. We will be having lunch followed by a planning meeting to decide what events will be organised in the following year.

You would be welcome to join us if you were going to be in the NE anyway but, realistically, it's not worth a separate journey. Do keep an eye on the "What's on" section for all the Areas in case there is something more suitable.
