NSE - Gourdon Sunday Chips - 10/10/10

Postby IanH » Wed Sep 08, 2010 9:33 pm

OK, so it's not Portsoy but it's still good plus an entertaining drive to get there, Hornblower chipper is the destination, would be good to see any Taysiders who felt like joining us?

Departure point will now be Duthie Park at 11:00.

Very tempting for myself. Last run before my Christmas holiday.

Looking forward to this - Portsoy chips are epic!

In view of the date, will we have to wear cowboy hats??

Count me in. I'll have my cowboy hat on too. Do you think anyone other than John Wayne can wear one without looking like a complete bampot

Note change of direction (sorry Paul we'll likely be in Cullen in November). In a spot of madness I decided to do a bit of planning (I know, I know...) and phoned the HL&S, they don't open till 4 on a Sunday. So going on a personal recommendation we're now heading south to Gourdon.

Unfortunately not going to be able to make this now. Work has pulling things forward a bit and I will now be departing a week earlier. So this weekend is now a mad dash (in the 5) down to see the parents & in-laws.

Hope everyone has a great time and will (hopefully) catch up with everyone when in return mid jan/feb.

Didn't think I'd make this one but looks like I will now : ) see you all on Sunday!

Can I just double check that that's the Polmuir Rd car park and not the Riverside one?

Have you booked in the nice weather Ian? I'll take some spare cowboy hats too!
