Sadly, when I got home after the Redgarth, I discovered I can't manage the Loch Muick walk on 4 July. We have a postponed birthday party to attend and can't miss it. Sorry.

Just had a look at this walk and it looks amazing. Me and the dog navigator (Mylo) would be well up for this.

Would be able to make it on the 4th as were going to be heading down the road the week after this.

Based on the home location of respondents so far who have intimated they are coming on Sunday we'll change the departure point to Morrisons Inverurie at 09:30, as before meet us at the destination if you prefer. Don't forget your packed lunch, beverages and midge repellent.......

In the absence of Bracken who will still be at his overnight accommodation, I'll again have Allan Dinwiddie with me riding shotgun.

Unfortunately me and the furry co-pilot won't be able to make it. In-laws arrived last night for a surprise visit so we're entertaining them. Will catch everyone on the Wolf's Run though

It was, indeed, a grand day out! I was worried when there was a spit of rain just as we arrived at the car park but it went off before we started the walk around Loch Muick. Loads of folk out doing the same thing and enjoying the fine day.

.....I'm glad to say its calmed already - so maybe the suncream had some effect after all! :D

Yes - super day out and great company, I think we've created an annual event for the calendar.

Here is a pic of our lunch stop outside the Queen's House at Glas allt Shiel...
