Eddie, thanks for the spannering and getting down and dirty in the pit!

It was a good day with catering to its usual excellent standard, Helen's scones for breakfast were a good start to the day, unfortunately there was no room for Stuarts fine pieces! As a first time attendee he wasn't to know about the immenseness of the catering this event attracts!

Yes indeedy a very fine day.

Me thinks though that the event should be renamed "the tattie soup that huds up a spoon" day with tinkering an added extra

I'm just very glad no one seemed to be put off by the condition of the immediate neighbours!!

Do you think if the whip round was bigger Frances would set up a soup tent at all our events?

She might! She seems to like us all tho' I can't think why! Frances obviously has a good memory for faces - she knew instantly that it was Stuart's first visit.

Thanks to all for your company. Good craic as usual.

Glad it went OK, sorry I couldn't make it.

This evening, after you guys will have had all your fun, Rockdoc and I managed to fix the niggling fault with my 5 in just a few minutes - a poor vac causing the supercharger bypass actuator to flutter! So car is ready for MOT on Thursday. If the way it was running on the drive today is anything to go by, I might still keep it, but right now I am still of the opinion is time for something else (Mk3 is a real possibility).

Hardtops are sold but lots of other goodies in loft and garage will be up for sale soon.

It's a journey I've been more than happy to take, all marques of the 5 are excellent in their own way, the MK3 continues that route.
