Mazda Cruzline

Postby Rick and Julie » Wed Feb 10, 2010 11:51 am

Hi,
If any members of NSS want to join the textline service for impromptu runs on weekdays, weekends or evenings, you can send me your mobile number by private message and I will add you to the circle and send you details of how it works and your contact numbers to pass on messages. Any other areas want to join in, then you are welcome.
We hope this will result in many more runs on good Mazda days.
Cheers, Julie

Hello out there,
Come on people sign up and lets get this thing working. I've had more feedback from other areas than I have from this one.
It works very well once its set up. You would receive one text message that you forward to 2 people. You would receive a second identical message which you simply delete.
It can't get any easier. It is a good system for contacting members quickly with either news or suggestions.
You can send me a private message and I am happy to do the collating, your mobile number and name is all I need and they will be kept under lock and key.
Cheers, Julie :?

The forum is great for this if we are all online all day every day, but if not we would not get the message, if its a text on your mobile you usually get it pretty fast.
Also we dont all have access when we are out and about, but we would still get the message by text on our mobile.
Hope this explains the idea behind the Cruzline.
Cheers, Julie

Many thanks for your support. The list is building up and I hope to send out numbers and details by text to all who have signed up by next weekend.
It looks like a fun season, lets hope we get lots and lots of Mazda days in.

Rick/Julie,

Could you pm me. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. I tried to pm you with my contact details but didn't seem to manage it somehow. Happy to sign up to the Cruzline.

Hear from you soon.

Cheers
Alex.

:D [color=#400Hi Rick & Julie!

Thank you for your email to let me know you have my details for any off the cuff runs- I quite agree that the web is ok- but - like you say- we can't always have access to our laotops- so this is a great way of keeping up-to-date!

Incidentally- have you had a good response- or is that classified?

Was up at Motorpoint Glasgow yesterday as they were selling a nice Stormy Blue Mx5 Sport Tech 59 Plate for £16k- but was told it is in Derby!! Now that's one run I was'nt keen on- so if I left a deposit- they would bring it up- but if I didn't like- then money spent! Still would have cost a fair bit to drive down, I suppose!

Anyway- all the best with your enterprising idea , I'm sure it will catch on, and appeal to like minded folk like myself, being somewhat impulsive!!
