Sorry for shooting off tonight from Glen Fiddich. I was halfway to Huntly when I thought perhaps I should have been in a homeward convoy! Apologies! Still, home at 2215 in time to let the dogs into the garden to bark at the traffic!
Good to see everyone again and welcome to Kenny & Debra and Jacx & Crawford. Hope to see you on the North Run on 16 August.

Was good to see everyone last night especially those on a first outing, names mentioned by Malcolm above and Angie and Dave who came from 'oop north' to meet us.

Paul was lurking in the hedgerows on the way down into Dufftown to grab a few action shots on the way in (which I'll be able to see tonight when the work firewall is not in the way!!).

Malcolm, if you shoot off like that when you get the new wheels you'll have to watch out for points on the licence, as it was we came back the same way we went up with only a minor detour by some (not me) who missed a turn but corrected themselves pretty quickly.

A good evening out 8)

So that would have been the side road right to Kenethmont which was missed?

Tut tut, Malc , wot are you like?? Old age again????

Message from Kenny and Debra:

You lot are much nicer than they had been led to believe ( ) and they will probably join the OC, if only for the magazine!

Seriously folks, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Welcome to Jacx and Crawford, and Bob and his lady - are they new too? Nice peeps.

Ian - not surprise you lost some of the convoy on the way home - you probably left them behind. Be prepared for a swift potter on the 16th - I will NOT be pushed into driving faster than I care to.

I had Lorraine's parents here today (they say hello) and they were describing a suicidal Lotus club outing in which they found themselves involved, and saying "Golly I hope Lorraine's lot don't drive like that!"

PS Will somebody please point me towards Paul's photos, and does that man ever sleep???

Angie, that's the trouble with being retired....so many things on one's mind that are NOT work related! It's good, isn't it?!

Brilliant.

Wish I'd known about it years ago! I'd have played hookey. 8)

Well it looks like I missed a grand night out. Sorry I missed meeting the new members.
I finally got my written word finished at tea time and having been up since 5am I was brain dead. As it happens I have been awake since 2 this morning and up since 3!

So, bring on the next run, I can't wait.

Great photo's as usual Paul.

As for "we are nicer than had been led to believe", whoever said it (and I have a fair idea who!) look out,

More than happy to potter once in a while

Led to believe..... We don't do airs & graces round here, treat people as you would like to be treated has always worked for me, conversely behave in a different way and don't be surprised if you put peoples back's up.
