Thu 2nd July - Foggie for Chips....

Postby IanH » Wed Jun 24, 2009 4:08 pm

Continuing the run of Ad Hoc events (this is the second) we continue to search the NE of Scotland for the best poke of chips.

Stonehaven last week has a lot to live up to despite the burned out Bervie! This time it's a mystery tour to Foggie.

For those coming from the Aberdeen end proposed departure is 6:45pm from Morrisons Inverurie. Those coming in from other directions should aim to be at JAMES A STUART Fish & Chips, Main St, Foggie around 7:30 - 7:45.

In the spirit of no planning I have no first hand knowledge of the premises but would expect that sit down facilities may not be available and that we'll have to al fresco in the car park.

We'll likely have a meander up and back with the route to be decided on the night!

Hope to see you there somewhere.

Foggie for chips

Postby clynderboy » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:44 pm

I can give you a wee bit of info regarding the chipper in Foggie.... it's called The Golden Fry and it is 'carry out' only but hopefully the Sun will be splitting the trees and we can all sit in the Square where there's loads of parking!
Take care all :D

John.
