NSS event - Rest and be Thankful Run

Postby Colin » Mon May 25, 2009 3:10 pm

In case you haven't received an e-mail from me, John Masterton is now taking names for Malc's June NSS run on Sunday 7th June.

Full details can be found at this link in due course. If you've not done a Malc run before, I can guarantee some of the finest roads and views in the area, plus a slap-up feed at a local hostelry.

Please note

1. the start time still has to be finalised.
2. names to John at mx5_nss@talktalk.net with mobile phone number by Sunday, 31st May please .
3. remember to let himknow if a passenger is coming along too so we can finalise numbers for lunch.
Cheers
Colin

You're just so organised Colin.

We have decided that from now on when we have a weekend run (like the one we did this weekend) we will pick a destination, book the B&B then figure out the rest as we go along. Great fun.

New tag line - reccying is for losers, planning is pointless, mind yer smalls!

Plan, what plan? I remember tearing that bit of paper up at the first stop as we went for the first of several reroutes  You should join us Colin, as Lorraine says the start and end points are fixed, it's the mystery in between that makes it work so well 8)

The menu for the day - I would like to pre-order on the day.

Loch Fyne Oyster Bar

Two course lunch menu for £13

Soup of the Day (probably vegetable)
or
Fish Soup
or
Steamed Mussels

Main Course

Smoked Fish Pie topped with Mash
or
Beef Stew

If you would like Oysters -
they are available from the A la Carte menu.:D

This restaurant specialises in fish - hence the fishy menu. :D
