NSE Pubby April 29th

Postby Rostra » Thu Apr 30, 2009 10:38 pm

Well - there we go - another great Pubby and HOW good it was to see you all, despite the long slog home. If I ever win the lottery I am going to rebuild the A96 personally!!

Thanks Lorraine, yet again, and Ian - we missed you.

Oh, and chips as well.

:D
Blessed are the cracked, for they let in the light.

Sounds good, glad it went well hope to catch up with everyone soon! The A96 is not fun at the best of times...

Around the time of the meeting we were being rescued in a broken down VW from the middle of a section of roadworks beside Chilliwack BC

Daughters car not well and proposed repairs worth more than the thing is probably worth :?

Just back after 24hrs of travel and trying to avoid going to bed for a while to start resetting the body clock 8)

Yes Angie we had a great turnout. Shame Ian was on holiday but getting a new face or two made up for it.
Isn't it great that a club pub meet can be had with no club stuff being mentioned at all
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon at the next couple of events.

Angie, sorry I didn't make the Regarth on Wednesday. We had visitors for a wee while but, by the time they had gone, it was too late to go to Oldmeldrum.
When you have a moment, would you mind sending me a PM with a link to your blog of your journey south last autumn. Meant to ask at the time but didn't! Thanks.

Sorry I didn't make it either.

I fully meant to come but daughters springing stuff on me at the last minute meant I was elsewhere.

I will get to one soon.

AAhh, twas indeed good to see our semi Spaninsh bretherin on home turf again. Ange looked wonderful, and I even got a cuddle. Dave, was....stealing chips I believe, and blaming me for almost everything... belittling my painting and my brush stroking skills, some things never change....

Good to see you both, and lang may your lum reek...

Ended up climbing in Ballater next day, so didn't get a chance to visit Forres. Another day though. If your'e in Banchory over the next 2 weeks let me know, after that I may be elsewhere......
